Danny Boone

Founding Partner, EVP Assets & Business Development

Prior to founding Forge in July 2011, Danny served in various leadership and technical roles for Burlington Resources and ConocoPhillips developing a diverse experience base across the continental United States in reservoir engineering, operations, and business development with an increasing emphasis on emerging unconventional resources. Starting his career with Meridian Oil / Burlington Resources in 1986, he held a series of positions of increasing responsibilities while diversifying his technical and management skills, ultimately leading growth efforts in the company’s Mid-Continent Division as Business Development Manager. Following the merger with ConocoPhillips in 2006, Danny assumed the role of Rockies Development Manager stewarding a complex set of assets including early development phases of the Bakken. Danny holds a Bachelor of Science in petroleum engineering from Texas Tech University.
