Arnold Nall (1958 - 2020)

Arnold had 40 years of E&P experience having served in various leadership and technical roles. He began his career with Mesa Petroleum prior to joining Meridian Oil / Burlington Resources in 1985. There he served in various technical and leadership roles where he spent 21 years culminating in his role as GM Drilling Mid-Continent BU. He managed execution of large capital programs over a diverse set of unconventional and conventional assets throughout the United States. In 2006 following ConocoPhillips’ acquisition, he served as Mid-Continent Division Director, Drilling and Completions. Beginning late 2007 as VP Operations for a private operator, he oversaw execution of the strategic shift to oiler assets achieving industry-leading IP30 rates during the earliest stages of Permian Basin horizontal development. A few notable achievements during his career include drilling and completing record-setting ultra-deep, HPHT wells in Wyoming’s Madden Deep Unit, drilling 350+ horizontal wells, and implementation of Forge’s horizontal San Andres program curve-tangent, high volume artificial lift concept. Arnold held a Bachelor of Science degree in petroleum engineering from Texas Tech University.
Arnold exemplified Forge Energy's core values through his unwavering dedication to safety and operational excellence, and his commitment to constantly performing with the highest integrity. Although he is dearly missed, Arnold’s positive impact on our company will continue as his legacy.
